Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Krell, 77

Ronald “Ronnie” Krell, 77, of West Bend passed away on Feb. 28, 2015, at The Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1937, in West Bend to the late Sylvester and Dorothy (nee Monday) Krell.
He served in the U.S. Army and after his discharge he was also called up for a second tour of active duty while serving in the Reserves. He was employed at Serigraph Sales for more than 40 years, retiring in December 2001. He actively participated in local sports, including baseball, softball, flag football, basketball and volleyball. Ronnie was no stranger to the local sports page, in fact his last appearance was when he hit a homerun over the fence at Regner Park when he was 61.
He is survived by five children, Jason (Jackie) Krell of Lakeville, Minnesota, Amy (Doug) Bova of Hartland, Marla (Mike) Arundel of Oak Lawn, Illinois, Greta (Clint) Arndt of Hartford, and Clinton (Deanna) Krell of Waukesha; 16 grandchildren, Erica, Emma, Lizzy, Jackson, Dante, Marisa, Enzo, Mateo, Ryann, Kennedy, Ireland, Mick, Avery, A.J., Berkeley, and Carter; a sister, Mary Rose (Don) Smith of West Bend; a brother, Ellis Krell; his former wife, Jacqueline; three nephews, Tim Krell, Kerry Krell, and Ryan Smith; a niece, Sara (Jeff) Baker; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger Krell.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. Eighth Ave, West Bend. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Kathy Hospice would be appreciated.
