Donald DeTuncq, 77

Donald “Deetz” DeTuncq, 77, of Oconto Falls, died March 9, 2015, in a Green Bay hospital. He was born March 22, 1937, in West Bend to Walter and Meta (Held) DeTuncq. “Deetz” grew up in West Bend where he graduated high school and later attended Ripon College. As a young man he served in the National Guard. For most of his adult life, “Deetz” was an iron worker on large buildings in the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Oconto Falls for many years.

Survivors are two children, Jason and Robin Richter, both of California; one brother, Edward (Jackie) DeTuncq, of Mayville; and one sister Darlyne (John) Neff, of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert.

Service of remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Oconto Falls with his friend James McClure officiating.
