Eva M. Antoni, 80, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Cedarburg, went to her Heavenly Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at home.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1935, in Germany, daughter of Josef and Dorothea (Pischel) Janke. She immigrated to Milwaukee in October 1951, with her parents and two sisters. She learned to speak English at night school and while working at a church rectory.
On July 23, 1955, she married Adolf Antoni at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg. She worked all her married life at Sprague and Rexnord in Grafton. They resided in the city and town of Cedarburg until 1984, when they moved with their family to Phoenix.
Eva is survived by five children, Renata (Richard) Morice of Glendale, Ariz., Peter (Debbye) of Peoria, Ariz., Roland of Glendale, Ariz., David (Heidi) of Waupun and Brenda (Tom) Henry of Glendale, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, Kris, Sarah, Michael and Jonathan Henry of Glendale, Ariz; Amber Bree Antoni of Peoria, Ariz.,; Eva-maria, Josef, Robert and Henry Antoni of Waupun and step-grandchildren, Maria and Peter Laning of Waupun; three sisters, Ingrid (William) Mikuliza of Chicago, Elvira (Joel) King of Phoenix and Doris (Larry) Mudgett of Hollister, Calif.; many nieces and nephews and friends in the greater Milwaukee area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adolf in 1998, and two grandsons.
Private services and internment will be held in Sun City AZ. Memorials to The Ozaukee Humane Society are appreciated.
