Ruth M. Kienast nee Ebert, 93

Ruth M. Kienast (nee Ebert), age 93 of Hartford passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015, at the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
She was born on Nov. 29, 1921, in Neosho to Edward and Marie (nee Braun) Ebert. Ruth attended Hartford Union High School. She was united in marriage to Viland Kienast on Sept. 5, 1942, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. Ruth worked at Baus Food Market for many years in Hartford and also in the factory at Badger Lab. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and Hartford Senior Friends. Ruth enjoyed playing sheepshead and watching the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ruth is survived by her loving children, Roger Kienast of California, Mary (Steve) Wetor of Hartford and Linda Schaefer of Slinger; daughter-in-law, Doris Kienast and son-in-law, Roger Seidemann; cherished grandchildren, Derek Schaefer, Brant Schaefer, Janet (Les) Vanderplasse, Farrah Schaefer, and Jessica (Doug) Unser; cherished great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Madeline Klein, Owen Schaefer, and Kamden and Kiera Unser; and dear siblings, Lorraine Troester of Glendale, Arizona and sister-in-law, Lorraine Cover of Clinton, Iowa. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 18 years, Viland Kienast; her brothers, Andrew (Sally) Ebert, Roland (Leona) Ebert, Clarence (Goldie and Violet) Ebert, Robert Cover, Wilbert (Olean) Ebert, Vincent, Delmar Ebert and Merlin (Gertrude) Ebert; her sisters, Viola (Rusty) Pratt, Dorothy Ebert, Violet Ebert and Elsie (Lavern) Zahn; brother-inlaw, Jerry Troester; and her children, Susan Seidemann, James Kienast and Kent Kienast.
Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church (738 W. Monroe Ave, Hartford, WI 53027) with the Rev. Renae Dymond officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 10-11 a.m.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions received will be given to a charity designated by the family.
