Erwin Schulz, 88
Jan. 20, 1927 -- April 19, 2015
On April 19, 2015, Erwin “Erv” Schulz passed away after a brief illness. Born in Mequon on Jan. 20, 1927, Erv spent his entire life in Wisconsin — minus two years of service in the Army, one equally sunny and humid year in Florida and the occasional vacation (Branson, Vegas and Honolulu). Erv met his late wife of 63 years, Irene Hintz Schulz, at Cedarburg High School. He was a familiar face at Riebe Oldsmobile in Grafton for 44 years, working his way from body shop tech to general sales manager, and making many friends in the process.
Time with family, card club with friends, Milwaukee Brewers games and NASCAR races provided hours of enjoyment for Erv. He took great pride in maintaining a beautiful home and yard while living in Cedarburg. He also volunteered with the Cedarburg Fire Department for many years.
Erv is survived by daughter, Karen (Todd) Roberts; grandchildren, Drew Roberts and Alison (Jung Bond Tse) Roberts-Tse; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, and daughter, Vickie.
Many thanks to the kind and knowledgeable staff at Cedar Bay East and Cedar Crossings Rehabilitation for their compassionate care.
Private services will be held. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home is serving the family: www.berndt-ledesma.com.
