Albert T. Wolf, 93
Oct. 13, 1921 -- June 1, 2015
Albert T. Wolf passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2015, at the age of 93, surrounded by his family.
Albert was born on Oct. 13, 1921, in Nenno to Martin and Mary (Mueller) Wolf. On May 7, 1947, he married Mildred Langenecker in Allenton. They farmed in the town of Addison for many years. In 1972, his sons joined them in forming Sunset Farms Inc., where he enjoyed working and expanding the family farm business. He and Mildred enjoyed traveling, dinner theater at the Fireside, but mostly loved their ever-expanding family — and of course, all the parties. He loved the many visits with the grandkids and their spouses and the little great-grands, even to the day before he died.
He was a member of the Allenton Fire Department for many years, retiring after 35 years as the treasurer. Albert was very proud of his 12 family members who joined the Allenton Fire Department. He was a deeply religious man, a member of Resurrection Parish, the Knights of Columbus and the Allenton Area Advancement Association.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; seven children, Ray (Anne), Marilyn (Jim) Dukelow, Judy (Don) Lesmeister, Dan (Ellen), Bernie (Cindy), Linda (Milt) Luka and Paul (Sue) Wolf; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; his brother, the Rev. Werner Wolf; and three sister-in-laws, Lucy Wolf, Beulah Zingsheim and Rosella Langenecker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clem, Wilmer and the Rev. Eugene Wolf; parents in-law, Mathias and Otlilia Langenecker; and brothers- and sisters in-law, Armand and Helen Rettler, Christ, Rudy and Lorraine Heinecke, Norbert and Anita Langenecker, Henry and Lucille Gehl, Roman and Marie Langenecker, Wendolin Zingsheim and Clem Langenecker.
