Marjorie M. Bild

Marjorie M. Bild (nee Mayer), age 95, of Jackson, entered into eternal life on May 14, 2015, at Ivy Manor in Jackson.

Marjorie was born to life on May 13, 1920, in Fox Point to the late Albert and Mary (nee Stabelfeldt) Mayer and was a graduate of Whitefish Bay High School. In 1941, Marjorie was united in marriage to Elmer Hamann at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Point. On April 14, 1963, Marjorie was united in marriage to William Bild in West Bend.

For many years, Marjorie was called the “bakery lady” in West Bend. She would bake bread and treats to give to friends and relatives. She enjoyed swimming, biking and ice-skating.

Marjorie is survived by two sons, Gerald (Kathy) Hamann of Merritt Island, Florida, and Mark Hamann of Thiensville; step-daughter, Barbara (Alan) Bluschke of Punta Gorda, Florida; two grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Hamann and Valerie (David) Clark; six great-grandchildren, Elle and Claire Hamann, Keeley and Natalie Hernesman, and Isla and Xander Clark; two cousins, Diane Umhoefer and Carmen Paulus; goddaughter, Gail Cash of Saukville; godson, Tim Kern of Fall Brook, California; dear friends, Susan and Ralph Goebel, Walter Hoeft, Walter Bingen, Gloria and Tom Marino, Jim and Laura Miller, Dawn Canfield-Dohmeyer and Bernice Zeckneister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary; her husbands, Elmer Hamann and William Bild; very dear great-aunt, Agnes Zuehlke; special dear cousin, Elizabeth Butenschoen; and friend, Virginia Falk.

A private family graveside service in remembrance of Marjorie was held in Washington County Memorial Park.
