Evelyn McCullum, 95

Evelyn McCullum, 95, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, at Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek.
She was born in Sioux Creek on Aug. 31, 1919, the daughter of Edna (Harlson) and William Warner.
Evelyn was born and raised in Sioux Creek, where she later married Burl McCullum.
Together they had two children, Arloa and Judith.
The family moved to Dallas, Wis., where they owned and operated a dairy farm. n the early 1960s, they moved to Grafton, where Evelyn and Burl worked and retired. Burl passed away in 1991 and Evelyn spent her last five years at Knapp Haven Nursing Home. A very sincere thank you to the staff and special care unit for their loving support and care for Evelyn and her family.
Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Arloa Anderson of Stone Lake and Judith McCullum of Grafton; two grandchildren, Lisa (Chris) Bruegger of Hudson and Scott (Shawna) Anderson of Hudson; and three great-grandchildren, Nicole Bruegger, Mike Bruegger and Cody Anderson. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Merle Davis; husband, Burl; sisters, Lorraine Nelson and Adeline Dodge; and brother, Dale Davis.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be at noon on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the funeral home. Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Barb Koch will officiate.
Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery following the service.
Pallbearers will be Scott and Cody Anderson, Chris, Michael and Nicole Bruegger and Lynn Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Knapp Haven Nursing Home Special Care Unit.
