Dex and Marjorie enjoyed traveling, especially to North Carolina, Switzerland and Austria. He also enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, spending time at their cottage and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and school concerts. He volunteered at the West Bend Food Pantry, and was thrilled to be part of the Honor Flight in 2011.
He was an active and faithful member of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church since 1952, member and past president of the West Bend Lion’s Club, West Bend Masonic Lodge 138 F & AM, and the West Bend Mutual 25 year club.
