Gladys Hiller, 92

Gladys Hiller (nee Roell), 92, of Port Washington, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Harbor Cove, Port Washington.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1922, to the late Walter and Martha (nee Wenzel) Roell in Waubeka. On April 1, 1944, she was united in marriage to Walter Wilkens. Walter passed away in March of 1955. On Aug. 11, 1973, she was united in marriage to Herbert Hiller. Herbert passed away in November 2002. She worked at Kiekhaefer Corp. during World War II and Grob Inc. from 1960-75. She was a member of the Farmington homemakers, St. Josephís Auxiliary, and a lifelong member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church, Fredonia.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wilkens of Random Lake; two stepdaughters, Karen (Robert) Belger and Jane (James) Jung; two step-grandchildren, Heidi (Jeff) Schulz and Tim (Leigh Ann) Belger; three great-grandchildren, Kelsi Schulz, Derek Schulz and Morgan Belger; brother, Harold Roell of Tucson, Arizona; brother-in-law, Ernest Keller; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Walter and Herbert; daughter, Judith Ann Wilkens; son, Gerald Wilkens; and daughter- in-law, Rachel Wilkens.
A funeral service in remembrance of Gladys will be held Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, (824 Fredonia Ave., Fredonia). Visitation will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at St Johnís Lutheran church cemetery.
