Sarah Lynn DickmannSarah Lynn Dickmann, 36, of Seattle, left our world too soon on Sunday, May 31, 2015, after 53 days at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington.

Sarah was born in West Bend on Nov. 23, 1978, the daughter of John and Jeanne (Heiting) Dickmann. She was raised and went to school in West Bend until moving to Jacksonville, Florida, where her father was stationed in the U.S. Navy. After discharge, the family resided in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and later Silverdale and Bremerton, Washington.

Upon graduating from Central Kitsap High School, Sarah moved to Seattle where she graduated from Seattle Community College. She set herself apart in the tech world, working for Microsoft as an operations lead, live broadcast producer for Microsoft’s streaming media operations, and system engineer for their adCenter and Commerce Azure operations.

Sarah was a very unique and beautiful free spirit. She lived a life full of adventure in the big city, enjoying concerts, sports, modeling, swing dancing, rock climbing, roller skating, 5K and 10K runs, and all the excitement Seattle had to offer. At Microsoft, Sarah met the love of her life and best friend, her fiancÚ, Josh West of Bremerton. She is survived by him as well as others who will cherish her memory, including her mother, Jeanne Dickmann of Bremerton; grandparents, Betty Dickmann of West Bend, and Ray and Mary Heiting of Plymouth; aunts and uncles, Diane (Ken) Troedel, Steve (Connie) Heiting, Laurie Schall and Beth (Rick) Olsen, all of Wisconsin; her German Shepherd, Lexie; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by her father, John G. Dickmann; her grandfather, Walter “Bud” Dickmann; and cousins, Jessica and Joshua Olsen.

A celebration of Sarah’s life will take place in Seattle at a later date.
