Lucille Ann Hartmann

Lucille Ann Hartmann, 69, of Phillips, town of Elk, died in the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015.
She was born in West Bend on May 30, 1946, the daughter of Roman and Evelyn (Krejci) Schneider. She was a 1966 graduate of Kewaskum High School in Kewaskum. She was married to Ira Hartmann on Nov. 11, 1967, in the Holy Angles Catholic Church in West Bend. They operated a dairy farm in Fredonia, and in 1999 moved to the Phillips area where they owned and operated the Whispering Pines Resort, and later the Skyline Motel in Phillips as well. They retired in 2013. She was active as a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul in Phillips, and was a member of Phillips Chaparrals Snowmobile Club. In her free time she enjoyed baking, reading, playing cards and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Ira; two children, Carol (Jeff) Nigh of Kewaskum and Brian of Fredonia; one granddaughter, Kaila (special friend Casey Steinman) of Kewaskum; five brothers, Eugene (Karleen) Schneider of Random Lake, Gerald (Diane) Schneider of Kewaskum, Donald (Karen) Schneider of Adell, Vincent (Lori) Schneider of West Bend, and Ralph Schneider of West Bend; four sisters, Beverly (Roger) Spaeth of West Bend, Kathleen Griepentrog of West Bend, Susan (Donald) Fischer of Antigo, and Carolyn (Bruce) Weninger of Kewaskum; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Phillips at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, with the Rev. Gerald Hagen celebrating the funeral Mass. Inurnment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Phillips. Friends may call at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
