Bonita L. Yahr, 76

Bonita L. “Bonnie” Yahr passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at her residence at the age of 76. She was born in Peoria, Illinois, on Oct. 1, 1938, to Arthur and Lola (Harfst) Williamson. She graduated from Easton High School in 1956. On Sept. 1, 1961, she married Curt Yahr in Havana, Illinois. Bonnie was employed over the years at the state office in Illinois, the West Bend Co. and the secretary of Yahr Oil Co. Bonnie was a member of Inner Wheel (Woman’s Rotary), Fenton Finders of America and the Red Hats.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Curt; her children, Steve (Molly) Yahr and Bob (Laurie) Yahr; grandchildren, Mason, Mitchell, Maxwell, Maclain, Austin and Amber; her brother, Lawrence (Ruth) Williamson; brother-in-law, Richard (Lynn) Yahr; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Williamson.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church (7750 Highway 144, West Bend) with the Rev. Robert A. Korytkowski presiding. Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 1 p.m. until the time of services (4 p.m.). Interment will be at Boltonville Union Cemetery on Friday at 10 a.m. Memorials to St. Andrew Lutheran Church or The Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
