Sandy Schowalter, 66
March 11, 1949 -- Aug. 24, 2015

Sandy Schowalter of Port Washington passed away early Monday morning, Aug. 24, 2015, at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. She was 66 years old.

Sandra was born March 11, 1949, in Port Washington, the daughter of Melvin and Hildegarde (nee Peiffer) Bremser. On Nov. 16, 1966, she was united in marriage with Jerold Schowalter in Port Washington. He preceded her in death in 2009. Sandy was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, who went to Arizona for spring training for many years. Sandy was the ultimate event coordinator.

Family and friends always looked forward to holidays, birthdays, Brewers games or Packers parties that she organized. She enjoyed traveling, but the most important thing in her life was her kids and grandkids. Sandy is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Kari) Schowalter and Jaci (the late Joe Sr.) Ollman, both of Port Washington. She is further survived by grandchildren: Joe Jr., Jenna and Julia Ollman and Jackson and Payton Schowalter; sisters: Darleen Evraets (Robert) of Plymouth and Kay Bremser of Port Washington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; son-in-law, Joe Ollman, Sr.; brother ,Ernie Bremser and her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will preside.

The family will receive visitors Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
