James L. ‘Jim’ Loeffler, 81

James L. “Jim” Loeffler of Grafton passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon at the age of 81 years.
Jim was born in Watertown on Feb. 12, 1934, to Paul and Florence (nee Hoffman) Loeffler, and after his first wife Janice passed away, he married Pat (nee Dooley) on March 8, 2003, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.
Jim had a great sense of humor, fun-loving spirit and always had a joke to tell. He was an active member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg and was an active league golfer at Hawthorne Hills, Mee-Kwon and Edgewater golf courses.
He is survived by his wife, Pat of Grafton; children, Brian (Patty) Loeffler of Grafton, Jeff (Kimberly) Loeffler of Batesville, Ind., and Cheryl (Dick) Bond of Wauwatosa; grandchildren, Ben (Nina) Loeffler of Kewaskum, Mike (Julie Benda) Loeffler of Minnesota, Tim Loeffler of Grafton, Chris Loeffler of Indiana, Jessica Loeffler of Indiana and Sean, Tom, and Anne Bond of Wauwatosa. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 6 p.m. at First Immanuel Lutheran Church W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg. Interment at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Memorials to First Immanuel Guardian Angel.
