Lynn Kenyon, 56
Stacy Lynn Kenyon (nee Algiers), 56, of Eagan, Minnesota, lost her courageous battle with cancer Sept. 5, 2015. Anastasia was born in Minneapolis. She grew up in Slinger, a daughter of the local veterinarian. She graduated in 1980 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and broadcast journalism. After graduation she began her career at Wisconsin Bell when she discovered her 28-plus year passion as senior sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, making people beautiful inside and out with her positive “can do” attitude and infectious smile. Stacy was a lifetime cheerleader to all she met and a faithful Wisconsin Badger fan. She worked for Target stores and most recently as a gate agent at Sun Country Airlines, where she would make every interaction a memorable one.
She leaves behind her husband of 17 years, Thomas Kenyon; two beautiful teenage daughters, Claire, 15, and Carly, 13; mother, Marcia Algiers of Surprise, Arizona; brother, John (Cindy) Algiers, Wisconsin; sisters, Terri Algiers, South Carolina, and Julie (Mark) Kocinski, Arizona; in-laws, Rod (Carol) Kenyon Minnesota, Craig (Kathy) Kenyon, Michigan, and Chuck (Chris) Schram, Minnesota; 14 nieces and nephews; 11 1/2 grand-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Norbert Edward Algiers. Visitations are 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, and 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, and the memorial service is 11 a.m. Oct. 2 at River Hills United Methodist Church (11100 River Hills Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337).
