Dana Rae Morgenroth, 61
Dana Rae Morgenroth (nee Sullivan), 61, of Elk River, Minnesota, previously of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly at home Sept. 12, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Sullivan. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 31 years, Mark Morgenroth; her children, Ryan Sullivan, Andrea Rajadyaksha (Neil) and Natalie Erickson (Tony); granddaughter, Nadia Erickson; mother, Collette Sullivan of West Bend; siblings, Holly Wichtoski (Jim), Mary “Gay” Sullivan, Bonnie Webber (Ronald), Cheryl Budelman (Tom) and William “Billy” Sullivan; and nieces, nephews, many other relatives and good friends.
Dana devoted her time and love to her family. She especially loved being a grandma and spending time with her granddaughter, Nadia, whom she often called “Pumpkin Pie.” She was looking forward to her second grandbaby, who she would have met this December. Dana was kindhearted and had a deep love for animals. She spoiled her dogs as much as her family. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, Facebooking and cooking. (Nobody ever left her house hungry.) She was a free spirit with a big heart and we will all miss her contagious laugh.
Funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Francis Cabrini Church (1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. with Mass following at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish you could make a charitable donation in her name to the Humane Society of the United States or the American Heart Association.
