Susan L. Jollie

Susan L. “Susie” Jollie (nee Krahn), 68, of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at The Kathy Hospice.

She was born Nov. 17, 1946, in West Bend to the late Alvin and Ludella (nee Ciriacks) Krahn, and graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1964. On Nov. 13, 1971, Susie was united in marriage to Lawrence “Larry” Jollie at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg.

Susie was employed at the Gehl Co. after high school. She later worked for Kohl’s Department Store, and at West Bend Mutual Insurance Co. from 1992 until her retirement in 2010.

Susie was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed dancing, music (especially Polka), auto racing, casinos, photography and, of course, the Green Bay Packers. Her family, especially her grandchildren, gave Susie the most joy in her life.

Those Susie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry; three daughters, Angie (Paul) Hartmann of Silver Creek, Mindy (Dennis) Stein of West Bend and Amanda (Derek) Seidel of West Bend; five grandchildren, Maddy and Brad Hartmann, Peyton Stein, and Ryan and Brooklyn Seidel; two sisters-in-law, Kathy (Norb) Rennicke, and Jean (Henry) Jelinek, both of West Bend; two brothers-in-law, Richard (Joan) Jollie of Longmont, Colorado, and Jack (Phyllis) Jollie of West Bend; and nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ludella; parents-in-law, John and Leona Jollie; and sister-in-law and her husband, Marlene (Harold) Bahr.

Funeral services in remembrance of Susie will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St., West Bend).

Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. The Rev. Robert Hein will officiate. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated by the family.
