Mark Lemmer, 68 |
Mark Edward Lemmer, 68, of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away unexpectedly
on Sept. 25, 2015.
Born in Mequon to Madelyn Marks and Jerome Lemmer, he
was the eldest of Mike (deceased), Margo and Michelle.
He attended Embry
Riddle Aeronautical Institute in Daytona Beach, Fla., and started work
as a commercial airline pilot in 1969 with United Airlines.
After 32 happy years of flying planes, he retired in 2001. He loved the
golf course with his friends, “putzing” around in his workshop and
watching his grandkids (the “kiddos”) grow up. Mark put on a gruff
exterior, but many people are grateful he allowed them to see his very
soft, loving and generous heart.
He will be missed terribly by his three daughters and their partners:
Colleen Lemmer and Ben Orzelek, Kristi and Brad Worth and Renee and
Ryder McCormack, and by his six grandchildren: Aidan, Samantha, Brody,
Olivia, Brady and Dillon.
As Mark always said, “If it’s worth doing,
it’s worth doing right!”
