Gerald G. ”Jerry” Goll passed peacefully surrounded by his family Oct. 28, 2015, at the age of 82, less than one month after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He was born March 15, 1933, in West Allis to the late Jacob Goll and Esther (nee Craig) Gavin.
After graduating from Notre Dame High School, he served in the United States Air Force. Following his discharge, he returned to Wisconsin and later became employed with and retired from the former Wisconsin Bell.
On Feb. 27, 1960, he was united in marriage to Judith A. Deering at Gesu Church in Milwaukee.
Jerry was a cherished husband, a loving father, a proud grandpa, a dear brother and a faithful friend.
He was a member of the Milwaukee and Great Lakes MG Motorcar Group. Survivors include his wife and best friend of 55 years, Judy; three children, Peter, Andrea (Mark) Harris and Laura (Ron) Werner; five grandchildren, Megan, Gregory, Abigail, Jacob and Jason; two sisters, Rita (Gerald) Jurkowski and Dian Coleman; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Goll.
A private memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held to celebrate his life.
