Beatrice 'Bea' CliffordBeatrice “Bea” (nee Helburg) Clifford passed away in her home on Nov. 17, 2015, in Cedarburg. She was 91.

Bea was born on Feb. 17, 1924, in Milwaukee. She and her high school sweetheart, John “Jack” Clifford, graduated from Messmer High School in 1942. Bea and Jack were married in 1946 and children John, James and Ellen completed the family soon after.

Bea was a well-known Welcome Wagon hostess for many years. At age 60, she achieved a professional license to practice as a real estate agent. Bea and Jack were longtime members of St. Francis Borgia Parish in Cedarburg and enjoyed ballroom dancing and having fun with Birthday Club friends in their spare time.

Bea is survived by her beloved children, John (Linda) Clifford, James (Deb) Clifford and Ellen Clifford. She is also survived by grandchildren, Cory (Jeremy) Ampe, Matt (Kari) Clifford, Michael (Crystal) Vida, Brian Vida, Dan (Jenna) Clifford and Kate (Ryan) Hill. Bea was also the proud great grandmother to Darla and Louis Ampe and Parker Vida. Bea is preceded in death by her husband Jack and her best friend and sister Florence Bleck.

Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Parish in Grafton from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015. Mass to follow. Memorials can be made in Bea’s honor to Messmer Catholic Schools.
