David Lee Nisleit, 60
David Lee Nisleit, 60, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at Angels on Arcadian, DePere.
He was born July 19, 1955, in Milwaukee, son of Max Nisleit and the late Dona (Lesperance) Nisleit.
David was a 1974 graduate of Grafton High School and lived and worked in the Milwaukee area.
On March 6, 1987, he married Doris A. Matzen in West Bend. Doris preceded him in death Oct. 9, 2009.
He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, gardening, camping and, most of all, his time at their cabin in Crivitz. David looked forward to his traveling and casino trips with his wife. David also enjoyed working and tinkering in the garage.
Survivors include his father, Max; two sons, Anthony (Colleen) Groh of Mayville, and Shawn Staehler of Fond du Lac; and five grandchildren, Ethan, Seth, Kasey, Alaina and Colin. He is further survived by his brothers, Jeff (Vickie) Nisleit, Steve (Donna) Nisleit and Richard (Jan) Nisleit; sister, Linda (Steve) Kovach; brother-in-law, Jim (Laura) Matzen; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife. Funeral services for David will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 Sixth St., Kiel) with the Rev. Cheryl Lepak officiating.
Burial will take place in Schleswig Cemetery, town of Schleswig (Rockville).
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
