Ruth M. Krueger, 88

Ruth M. Krueger of Port Washington was called to her eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon, at the age of 88 years.
Ruth was born in Antigo on June 19, 1927 to the late Rev. William and Anne (nee Koehn) Jaeger and married Allen Krueger on April 22, 1950, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton.
For many years Ruth spent her time as a homemaker and mother, caring for her six children. In 1968, Ruth went to work as a secretary at Grafton Elementary School for 20 years. While her children were in school, Ruth was an active member of the Grafton Music Boosters.
After her retirement, she volunteered in St. Paulís church office and also was an election volunteer for the village of Grafton.
Ruth enjoyed different types of crafts and spending time with various groups of friends, playing Farkle and other games. She and her husband especially enjoyed attending many of their childrenís and grandchildrenís concerts, athletic events and other activities.
The Krueger family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Goniu and Ruthís caregivers at Ellenís Home in Port Washington for their love and outstanding care.
They are also grateful to Lawlis Family Hospice for their help and compassion in her final days.
Ruth is survived by her children, Cindy Kimball of Port Washington, Bonnie (Joseph) Knepper of Rice Lake, Bryan (Bridget) Krueger of Little Kohler, Terry (Maria) Krueger of Berlin, Colleen (James) Leyva of Ashville, N.C., and Michael Krueger of Denver; sister, Darlene (Robert) Ladwig of Sheboygan; sister-in-law, LaVerne Frank of Cedarburg; and brother-inlaw, Harry Viesselmann of Cedarburg. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Grafton. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
