Alice Ehr Wiberg, 86
Alice Ehr Wiberg, 86, of West Bend, formerly of Amherst Junction, died peacefully in her sleep at The Kathy Hospice with her family at her side on Dec. 29, 2015, after a recurring battle with cancer.
Alice was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Milwaukee to Harold and Alyce (Strelka) Berg. She was married to Thomas P. Ehr on Feb. 7, 1948, in Milwaukee. They were married 58 years. After raising their 10 children, Alice was employed at Lasata Nursing Home in Cedarburg for many years. They retired in 1990 and moved to Amherst Junction. Thomas died Feb. 11, 2006. She married Roy Wiberg, Amherst Junction, on Aug. 25, 2007. He died Feb. 22, 2014.
Survivors include special friend, Wayne Schmidt of West Bend; five sons, Thomas J. (Mitzi) of Amherst Junction, William (Sharon) of West Bend, Joseph (Sharon) of Ogdensburg, Harold (Kathy) of Custer, and John (Laura) of Amherst Junction; four daughters, Patricia (James) Barrette of West Bend, Christine Ostrowski of Amherst Junction, Mary (Alan) Schmucker of Port Washington, and Barbara (Terry) Block of Tigerton; daughter-in-law, Marcia (Robert) Skibba of Amherst Junction; sister, Dolores (Charles) Frank of Amherst Junction; brother, James (Ellie) Berg of Mineral Wells, Texas; 31 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald M. Ehr; son-in-law, Peter Ostrowski; and five brothers, Harold (Bud), Raymond, Robert, Richard, and William Berg.
Jungers-Holly funeral home in Amherst will assist with final arrangements. A visitation and memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home (262 S. Main St., Amherst, WI) with the Rev. Dean Oldson and the Rev. Marcia Carrier officiating. Condolences may be offered online at www.hollyfuneralhome.com.
