Thomas R. Groninger, 59, of Theresa, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 23, at St. Paul Lutheran Church (4115 German Village Road, West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. Paul Reede officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, from 11 a.m. until the noon service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, West Bend.
Thomas was born June 21, 1956, to Roy and Helen (Pohle) Groninger in Milwaukee. He was a graduate of New Berlin High School. Thomas was united in marriage to Mary Zell on Nov. 15, 2008, in Allenton. He was employed by Lycon Inc. of Slinger. Tom was a trustee with the Horicon March Classic Car Club. He loved cars and trucks, and enjoyed going to car shows.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary of Theresa; his children, Nicole (Tim Natvig) Groninger of Waukesha, Steven T. (Jenn) Groninger of Watertown and Adam T. Groninger of Allenton; his stepchildren, P.J. Lehmann of West Bend, Mary (Daniel Ruhland) Ruhland of West Bend and Alexander Zell of West Bend; his sisters, Lynn (James) Krenzien of Allenton and Kay (Dan) Ulma of Colgate; his brother, Michael Groninger of Colgate; his grandchildren, Carolyn, Clarissa and Alexis; two nieces; two nephews; six great-nieces and -nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam recreation department.
