She married Frank Kogler of Sheboygan in 1949, and the couple took up residence in Milwaukee. After moving to West Bend in 1954, Fay did legal typing at home while raising her three sons. She then worked as a legal secretary for O'Meara Law office in West Bend for 29 years until her retirement in 1997. For many years she was an active member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in West Bend and made numerous close friends there. After their retirement, Fay and Frank enjoyed wintering in Tucson, Arizona, and traveling to see family both in Europe and the U.S. She also enjoyed socializing and played in several bridge groups for many years. Above all, Fay loved her family, hosting many get-togethers and doting on her children and grandchildren.
