Larry Beyer, 58, of Newburg, formerly of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
Larry was born Jan. 7, 1958, in Plymouth, a son of Doris Rheingans Beyer and the late Albert Beyer. He attended Plymouth grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1976. On Oct. 15, 1977, he married Carrie P. Anderson at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Carrie preceded him in death Aug. 19, 2010.
Larry worked at Stokley Van Camp in Plymouth, Knowles Manufacturing in Glenbeulah, Wilman Industries in Cedar Grove and was more recently employed at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac since 1999. On Sept. 28, 2013, he married Pamela Wetzel at Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, belonged to the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department from 1980-2000, served as an EMT with the Plymouth Ambulance Service from 1984-1999 and served on the Emergency Response Team while working at Mercury Marine.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going to Milwaukee Brewers games and spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren who meant the world to him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him and his memories will live on in our hearts forever. Larry would help anyone at any time and he continued to do this even after his passing, by donating his organs and tissue to those in need.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pam of Newburg; three daughters, Nicole (Jose) Nieto of Waldo and children, Tatyanna, Nevada and Micaela, Angel (Andrew) Gilbert of Cascade and children, Alyssa, Austin, Alexis and Andrew Jr., and Jenna (Armando) Moreno of Cascade and children, Alejandro, Jazmyn, Abigail and Amalia; five stepchildren, Andres Aguirre (special friend Dawn) and children, Adrianna, Caden and Brandon, Armando Aguirre (fiancé Gidget) and children, Alex, Armando Jr., Marcel, Raven, Kayla, Miranda and Bella, Anita (Jose) Gurrola and children, Jesus, Victor, Santiago and Liliana, Leticia (Mauricio) Chavez and children, Alondra, Mauricio, Shaleah and Elian, and Sarah Aguirre and child, Valentina; his mother, Doris Beyer of Plymouth; father-in-law, Robert Wetzel of West Bend; two sisters, Mary (William) Grunow of Glenbeulah and family, Sarah, Michelle and Cassie, and Sheri (Ernest) Nytes of Plymouth and daughter, Marla.
He is survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father; one granddaughter, Mercedez; and one grandson, Trey.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Don Johnson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of services Thursday, March 3, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Larry’s name.
