Deloras Harriet Brock, 94Deloras Harriet Brock (nee Glaser), 94, of West Bend, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2016, at Cedar Bay Nursing Home.

Deloras was born July 27, 1921, in Dubuque, Iowa, to the late Julius and Harriet Glaser. After moving to Milwaukee as a young child, she met and married her husband, Donald Brock, on May 4, 1940. They lived in the town of Jackson for many years, until they retired and moved to Marion for 17 years. They then returned to the West Bend area to be closer to their children.

Deloras is survived by her children, Patricia (Jerome Fechter), Dorothy (Lewis Weber), Donald (Rhonda), Patrick (Sue), Christine (Doug Schultz), Linda (Rick Neuy), Teresa (Greg Olszowy), Wayne (Lori), Elizabeth (Gary Dexter) and Vicki (Steve Stuebs). She is further survived by 30 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Norman Glaser; a sister-in-law, Mary; two brothers-in-law, Melvin Stark and Bert Roman; and many nieces and nephews.

Deloras was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; children, Timothy and Christopher; son-in-law, Lewis Weber; sisters, Lucille Glaser, Ruth Purpora, Connie Roman, Marge Stark and Bev Walloch; brothers, Julius, William and Keith; and four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.

Besides being a loving wife and mother, Deloras’ passion and love was crocheting afghans and making things for her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095) with Deacon Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Cedar Lake Home (Cedar Community Foundation, 113 Cedar Ridge Drive, West Bend, WI 53095).
