Christine Jyll Rose, 65
Christine Jyll Rose, of Cedarburg, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon at the age of 65.
Christine was born in Port Washington on Feb. 9, 1951, the daughter of Gene Graff and the late Marcella (nee Bublitz) Graff. She was a member of Davidís Star Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Ladies Aid many years ago.
Christine is survived by her loving son, Shawn (Jessica) Maney; her precious grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Sawyer, Simon and Sullivan Maney; her father, Gene Graff; siblings, Doug (the late Kathy) Graff, Shelly (Garry) Basing, Peggy (James) Cavender, Lori (Wayne) Strauss and Chad (Wendy) Graff; her longtime best friend from first grade, Carol (Joel) Hausmann; and her longtime neighbor and friend, Marlene Hagenow. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Christine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Rose; mother, Marcella ďMuttieĒ Graff; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Koshakow.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Davidís Star Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kirchhayn. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12:25 p.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Davidís Star Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
