Dorothy A. Wilson (nee Johnson), 89, of West Bend, found peace Monday, March 21, 2016, at The Cottages at Cedar Run in West Bend.
She was born Jan. 4, 1927, to the late Olaf and Edith (nee Andersen) Johnson in Proctor, Minnesota. On Sept. 19, 1947, she was united in marriage to Wallace Wilson in Duluth, Minnesota. She was a member of the West Bend chapter of the Eastern Star, and a past worthy matron. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile and the White Shrine in Milwaukee. Her sewing and creativity was well known by all.
Those Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Janet (Joseph) Kelly of Atlanta, Vicki Wilson of West Bend and Claudia Hahn of Dallas; five grandchildren, Kristen (Kevin) Carruth of Hiram, Georgia, Julie Kelly of Atlanta, Jason Kelly of Atlanta, Eric Reichert of West Bend and Courtney (Christopher) Dimock of Mansfield, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Carruth, Kinsleigh Carruth and Ronan Dimock; brother-in-law, Fulton Wilson; friend, Harvey Holler; and other relatives and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; three sisters and seven brothers; grandson, Scott Reichert; sister-in-law, Joyce Birr; and brothers-in-law, Jack Wilson and Vernon Wilson.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
