Elizabeth Bandler, 86

Elizabeth “Betty” Bandler (nee Blatz), 86, was born peacefully into eternal life April 1, 2016, to reunite with the love of her life, Howard Bandler. She was born May 20, 1929, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (nee Staller) Blatz. She was the youngest of four siblings, John, Kay, Joe, and Ann, who preceded her in death. Betty married Howard Bandler on Oct. 16, 1948. Howard preceded her in death at age 36.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Bandler, Christine (Thomas) Sybeldon and Diane (John) Blahnik; grandchildren, Sarah, Carrie (Kyle), Jonathan and Lisa; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Caitlynn, Kiera, Miles and Louie. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Butch Bandler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, siblings and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Leroy and Norman, and a great-granddaughter, Lillian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. Eighth Ave., West Bend) with the Rev. Gerry Brittain presiding. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Thursday at the church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (7301 W. Nash St., Milwaukee).
