Daniel J. Clapham, age 59, passed away at his home on April 13, 2016, after a battle with cancer. He was born on Dec. 19, 1956, to John and Lorna (nee Mathews) Clapham. Dan graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering and then earned his Masters of Science degree from Marquette University. He spent 34 years working as an electrical engineer at Marquette Electronics, GE Medical Systems and DyneSystems. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially vacations to Disney World, attending sporting events and watching movies with Jack and Margaret. Dan relied on his strong faith and prayers from friends and family during his recent illness.
Dan is survived by his wife, Martha (nee Brojanac); children, Jack and Margaret Clapham; sisters Ellen (Larry) Kniess and Carol (Jeff) Folz; brother-inlaw, Tom (Sue) Brojanac; niece, Jenna Folz; and nephews, Gary (Kayla) Kniess and Alex Folz. Dan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Lucille Mathews; parents-in-law, Tony and Barbara Brojanac; and nephew, Jordan Folz. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church. W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg, WI 53012 at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at a later date.
