James A. Dolley, 54, formerly of Westbrook, Maine, passed away at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend on Nov. 4, 2015. His family was with him, and his partner, Linda Amacher, was by his side.

Jim was born in Portland, Maine, on June 4, 1961, the son of Norise A. and Martha Susan Dolley. Jim was predeceased by his father in 2008.

Jim attended Westbrook High School, The University of Maine and Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac, graduating with high honors.

Heís survived by Linda Amacher; his brothers, John H. of Kerrville, Texas, and Jason S. of Gorham, Maine; and their spouses, Yumi and Rhonda. Jim had very special connections with his nephew and nieces, Nick, Alyssa, Nana and Alli. Heís also survived by aunts and uncles, Maureen Worsley, Eugene and Betty Dolley, Peg and Neil Jensen, and Wally and Eileen Garroway.

Jim was a man of many interests and he enjoyed them to the fullest. He was always supported by and often shared with his good friends. Some of his hobbies included literature, music, electronics, woodworking, underwater and cave diving, and watch making.

A background in photography led him to Sundance Photo in Jackson 29 years ago, first as technical director and later as executive vice president. His position as network manager of the West Bend Joint School District was all important to him and he missed as few work days as possible during the three years of his illness.

Jim touched the lives of many in his own inimitable ways; heís greatly missed by loved ones, friends and co-workers.

A truly heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Kraemer Cancer Center of St. Josephís hospital in West Bend and Froedtert & Milwaukee Medical College in Milwaukee ó you all became Jimís family.

If desired, gifts may be made in Jimís memory to a charity of your choice.
