George Henry Seelig, 73
June 5, 1943 — April 27, 2016
George Henry Seelig passed away unexpectedly April 27, 2016, at his home.
George was born June 5, 1943, the son of the late Henry and Edith Seelig. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anni Seelig; sister, Sigrid Seelig; brother, Peter Seelig; and grandson, Connor Lang.
Survivors include his children, daughter Laura (Mark) Lang of West Bend, and their children Joshua and Logan, and son, Scott (Tara) Seelig of Campbellsport, and their children Skyler and Samantha Seelig, and Allyssa and Samantha Stamm; special friend, Noi Miller of Kewaskum; first wife, Virginia Palmer of West Bend; sister-in-law, Cissy Seelig; nephews, Shawn and Eric Seelig, all of Oak Creek; and many endearing friends.
George always put his family first. He sacrificed so much for everyone around him. He celebrated his German heritage quite often by attending Germanfest and driving his Mercedes in the parades. He loved working on electronics and cars. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He also frequented McDonald's in Kewaskum quite often, as the crew treated him like family.
In honor of George's wishes, there will be a private gathering for the immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association.
It is not goodbye, but until we meet again ...
