James L. Anderson, 73

James L. Anderson, of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his residence, at the age of 73 years.
Jim was born on Sept. 1, 1942, in La Crosse, the son of the late Christ Anderson and the late Florence (nee Heiser) Anderson.
Jim attended the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, where he earned his bachelorís degree, and then went on to Marquette University as well as the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to earn his masterís degree.
Jim was a college instructor at Milwaukee Area Technical College for more than 40 years, working at both the Milwaukee campus and the North campus, in Mequon. He was a faithful and dedicated instructor to his many students he taught over his storied career.
Jim was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and traveling. He enjoyed a good joke as well as playing many pranks on his family and friends. Jimís true love, however, was spending time with his beloved wife, children and his two grandsons, whom he was so proud of. Jim is survived by his wife, Debbie Daubert Anderson; children, James G. Anderson and Lisa (Jeff) Nickel; and grandsons, Grayson and Benson Anderson. He is further survived by two sisters, two brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 20, 2016, at 3 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton. A visitation will take place prior to the service from noon until the time of service.
