Kimberly “Kimmie” N. Landon, 21, of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

Kimmie was born July 21, 1994, to Timothy and Jessica (nee McConkey). She attended West Bend East High School. Kimmie loved attending music festivals, shopping, drawing, writing poetry and her wish was to become a professional photographer. She was also a “prankster” and loved to make everyone laugh. She lit up every room she walked into with her bubbly and loud personality, never failing to put a smile on everyone’s face. Kimmie was sensitive and loving with a pure soul. She would do anything for anyone. She had a glow about herself that will never be put out.

Kimmie is survived by her parents, Tim and Jessica; sister, Samantha “Samie”; and nephew, Carter Dale. She is further survived by her grandmother, Sharon Backhaus; grandfathers, Steve Backhaus and William Landon; great-grandfather, John Julson and Jim Laing; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dale McConkey; grandmother, Diana Landon; great-grandmothers, Margaret Julson, Edna Laing, Hilda Veit, Cleo McConkey and Ella Duchow; great-grandfather, Clarence Veit; and great-great-grandmother Lucille “Little Grandma” Rolo.

A funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
