Rita “Kit” Adamson (nee Kruzel), 62, passed away suddenly in her home Sunday, July 17, 2016. She was born April 14, 1954, to Adalbert and Dolores (nee Nystrom) Kruzel. Kit loved life to the fullest and so enjoyed helping others. She especially loved working with children and visiting people in hospitals and senior centers with her therapy animals. She enjoyed making jewelry and other crafts for her booth at craft shows. She loved to travel with her husband on their motorcycle to places she had never seen.
Kit is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Bill; children, Kevin Gerard and Donnela, James Gerard, Dawn Gerard, Angela Adamson and Connie Bittner (and her four-legged kids, Ace, Tasha, Cuddles, Bert and Star); grandchildren, Samantha Trampe, Rachael Trampe, Draven Benci, Andrew Bittner and William Bittner; and siblings, Steven Kruzel, Jill Green and Lynda Rusch. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Kit is preceded in death by her parents, and sibling, John Kruzel.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at Wooded Hills Church (777 Highway 164, Colgate, WI 53017) with the Rev. Theo Williams presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for medical expenses are appreciated.
