James A. Naumann, 61 James A. “Jim” Naumann, 61, of Adell, passed away early Saturday morning Aug. 6, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton of an apparent heart attack.

James was born June 15, 1955, in West Bend, a son of the late Harold J. and Mattie M (Hall) Naumann. He graduated from West Bend West High School in 1973.

James served in the U.S. Army from 1973-77.

On Nov. 9, 2007, he married Deborah Szymanski at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in West Bend. The couple has resided in Adell since their marriage.

James worked at West Bend Warehouse and Logistics for more than 10 years, Times Printing in Random Lake for several years and was currently working at Rockline Industries in Sheboygan Falls.

He was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell and served as an elder, usher, choir member and a Sunday school teacher. Jim was a very strong Christian and lived for the Lord.

Survivors include his loving wife, Deborah of Adell; his only brother, Mike (Jean) Naumann of Oconomowoc; four sisters, Terri (Bob) Hug of West Bend, Tami (Ron) Letson of West Bend, Erlene (Lee) Herriges of Campbellsport and Pat Cooper of West Allis; three stepchildren, Kevin, Kyle and Erica; he was Grandpa to Addison, Antonio and Lucas; his father- and mother-in-law, Walter and Esther Szymanski of Milwaukee; and he will be missed by his loving canine companion, Pearl. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Dorothy Lazaro.

Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. The Rev. Christopher Seifferlein, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday morning Aug. 10 at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in James’ name for Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post 5612 will conduct military rites at the cemetery following the services at church.
