Harlan Harris, 73

Harlan Harris (aka Krubsack), 73, passed away after brief illness Aug. 7, 2016.

Harlan, son of Clarence and Leona Krubsack, is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Emilee Harris, San Diego, Aymie (Mike) Bruss and Wendy Senn; four loving grandchildren, Mike, Meghan, Jacob and Cassidy (plus one granddaughter-to-be); sister, Sharon (Gene) Retert of Wild Rose; and numerous relatives and some of the best friends any man could have.

Harlan completed a machinist apprenticeship, then graduated from Arizona State University, in addition to receiving his Master of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He was a retired educator, and taught at Moraine Park Technical College for more than 20 years, and UW-Platteville. His passion was motorcycling, having traveled extensively on Yamaha, Triumph and BMW bikes.

Because he loved good food, wine and company, please join us for a celebration of his life Thursday, Aug. 11, at Pillars Pub (225 S. Fifth Ave., West Bend) from 4-8 p.m. Motorcycles encouraged!
