Beulah A. Nothem, 87 Beulah A. Nothem (nee Goschey), 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, in West Bend. She was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Barton, to Joseph and Edna (nee Burkholz) Goschey. In her early years, she worked at a shoe factory, St. Joseph’s Hospital, the West Bend Co., the Samaritan and Cedar Lake Home. Beulah married Ralph E. Nothem on Feb. 6, 1951. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, crocheting, knitting, cooking, baking, and she loved dancing and gardening. Beulah was kind, loving, positive, happy and was always helping others. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, and volunteered at the Blood Center and Historical Society.

Beulah is survived by her children, Keith Nothem, the Rev. David Nothem, Mark (Nancy) Nothem, Sandra (David) Noegel and Jeff (Lara Funke-Nothem) Nothem; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by in-laws, Harold (Arlene) Nothem, Arnie (Rosemary) Nothem and Mary Jane Powers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Beulah is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; daughter, Donna Nothem; sons, Terry Nothem and Tyler Nothem; siblings, Edwin Goschey, Esther Gray, Marcella Heider and Herbert Goschey; and daughters-in-law, Betty Christen-Nothem and Carol Nothem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. Eighth Ave., West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. Patrick Heppe presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of Mass. The entombment will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Washington County Memorial Park in the Garden Mausoleum.
