Richard O. Dueck, 75

He was born May 24, 1941, in Hartford to Otto and Lucile (nee Severtson) Dueck. He married Sharon Roethle on May 24, 1975, at First Methodist Church in Hartford.

Richard attended Hartford High School, Layton School of Art and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Richard served on the Hartford Jt. 1 School Board from 2007-11.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, community activities, gardening, listening to Wisconsin sports, Chinese buffet (especially wonton soup!), listening to saucy western stories from the Library of the Blind, and causing a ruckus wherever he went. He was always tinkering at something there was always a project. Despite his often eccentric and tough exterior, he cared greatly for his family, friends, community and country.
