Dakota Lynn Krueger
Dakota Lynn Krueger, “Princess Koda,” 22, was set free to become an angel Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016. She was born to Raymond Kling Jr. and Kelly Krueger on April 29, 1994, in West Bend. She graduated from West Bend West High School in 2012.
Dakota was very gifted with a unique style and sassy personality. She was never, ever separated from her cellphone. Dakota had a special place in her heart for cats and dogs. One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her family and taking family trips. She loved listening to all kinds of music and driving through Sandy Knoll Park.
Dakota will be greatly missed by her parents, Kelly (Jason Casey) Krueger and Raymond Kling Jr.; sister, Serenity Krueger; brother, Riley Kling; grandparents, Paul (Porky) and Lynn Krueger, Ray and Lavonne Kling, and Sharon and Dan Morin; great-grandparents, Darleen Rochwite and Paul J. (Joanne) Krueger; aunt, Erica (Thomas) Umbach; godparents, Luan Sabish, Karen Oresnik and Michael Biertzer; many cousins; other relatives and friends; and Dakota’s four-legged kids, Chancery, Leonidas, Princess Poof, Aphrodite and Onix Jacobi. She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Stewart Rochwite, Viola and Herman Kling, Elsie Still, “grandpa” Harry and her fur baby, Precious.
A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend) with Deacon Michael Koebel presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Washington County Memorial Park.
Dakota was one of the many who struggled with addiction. The disease of addiction is merciless. It is up to us to open our minds and hearts to those who are still sick and suffering. Dakota doesn’t want us to cry for her — she wants us to fight for her.
