Shirley was born in Port Washington on Aug. 15, 1929. Her parents, Bill and Maryann Krupp, as well as her one brother, Lou, lived in the small church community of Holy Cross. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Grade School and then graduated from Port Washington High School in 1947. She finished her education with an associate degree in hair styling from Milwaukee Beauty School. Shirley then married the love of her life, Arnold, in 1951. Their marriage was blessed with four children – Bruce (Nancy), Brian (Georganne), Karen (John) Reddin and Kevin (Jenny).

Shirley was content with the simple pleasures in life. She loved spending time with her friends, going to the casino, helping at church, watching or spending time with her 11 grandchildren and maintaining her property. She was eternally generous and was always willing to assist those in need. Shirley truly had a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by her deeply saddened family, friends and church community.
