Arthur F. Prasch, 89

Arthur F. Prasch, 89, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 17, 2016. He was born July 28, 1927, in Milwaukee to Michael and Ellen (nee Byrne) Prasch. Arthur attended Marquette High School, served in the U.S. Army and later married Carol “Penny” (nee Penn) on Oct. 13, 1951, in Milwaukee. He was the owner of Quality Rebuilders in Milwaukee. Arthur loved car racing and was a USAC official. He always had a car with big racing motors. He enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, dancing with his wife and especially spending time with his family. Arthur was a member of the American Legion.

Arthur is survived by his children, Kerry (David Schroeder) Orcholl, Amy (Mark) Krueger and Tim (Debbie); grandchildren, Daniel Mathiak, Rebecca (Chris) Duncan, David Rust, and Michael and Joe Prasch; brother, Robert Prasch; and sister, Bettie Weber. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arthur is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol; his parents; daughter, Beth Tate; grandson, Andrew Rust; and sisters, Dolly Fabrey, Catherine Roe and Shirley Chitel.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095) with the Rev. Jeff Hesse presiding. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service (1 p.m.).
