JoAnne Leow (nee Hallman), 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at The Kathy Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born to Theodore “Zip” and Betty (nee Kanska) Hallman on Aug. 20, 1945, in Philadelphia. JoAnne married Donald Leow in 1965 and together they had two children.
JoAnne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a heart of an angel. She was always the first person to offer help when needed. Her favorite pastime was spending the day at Appy Orse Acres, a riding stable she loved.
JoAnne is survived by her loving husband, Don; her two children, Ronald (Pamela) Leow and Tammy (Greg) Lighthizer; grandchildren, Mikey (Amber) Bezy, Megan Tugel, Jeraed Lighthizer and Amber Leow; and great-grandchildren, Ray and Gabriel. She is further survived by two brothers, one sister, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at The Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI). There will be a private family interment.
