Patricia M. Hoeppner (nee Butts), 82, of Rubicon, passed away at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016.

Patricia was born Nov. 26, 1934, in Shawno to Perry and Verna M. (nee Curtis) Butts. She was united in marriage to Leander C. Hoeppner on Feb. 14, 1953, at St. John Catholic Church in Rubicon. She lived in Rubicon for more than 60 years and was a dairy farmer. Patricia was a longtime member of St. John Catholic Church, was a member of their Christian Mothers and taught CCD there for 18 years. She was also a member of the Catholic Knights and worked at the Woodland Foundry for 19 years.

Patricia is survived by her loving sons, Mike (Lois) of Rubicon, Mark (Trischa) of Rubicon, John (Peggy) of Mayville and Butch (Alison) Hoeppner of Hartford; 10 cherished grandchildren, Mike Jr., Nick, Shelly, Sabrina, P.J., Marcus, David, Jennifer, Nicole and Donavan; 16 cherished great-grandchildren, Shayna, Holli, Thomas, Sara, Makenna, Charlie, James, Anna, Mia, Kayden, Jacob, Lincoln, Owen, Aubrie, Mason and Skyler; and her dear sisters, Betty (Gene) Gissen, Vicki Urban, Joyce Vander Galien and Virginia Bjerken. She is further survived by many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Leander Hoeppner; parents; siblings, Perry, Charles and Linda Butts; parents-in-law, Otto and Pauline (nee Canar) Hoeppner; and her daughter-in-law, Theresa Hoeppner.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at St. John Catholic Church, (W1170 Rome Road, Rubicon, WI 53078), with the Rev. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends Friday at the church from 4-6:30p.m.

Interment will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Rubicon.
