Denise M. Stadelmayer, 49
Denise M. Stadelmayer (nee Lustig) found peace Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, in Salt Lake City.
She was born March 25, 1967, to Gerald Lustig and Sandra Schmidt (nee Anderson) in Madison. Denise followed her dreams and lived a very full life in her 49 years. She traveled the world with her family and friends, sought her dream job as a flight attendant, and always sought personal growth. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, more than anything; they were the light of her life. Denise fought a very courageous battle with Stage 4 colorectal cancer, persistent in her fight and creating awareness for the disease, and she wants you to get your colon checked!
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her father, Gerald Lustig; her mother, Sandra Schmidt; three children, Brittany (Joshua) Petersen, Robert (Marjorie) Stadelmayer Jr. and Dylan Stadelmayer, all of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, Sawyer, Braden, Parker and Avery Petersen; a half-sister, Stacey Cupit; a half-brother, Shane (Cheryl) Lustig; a close friend, Doug Reeves; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Vernon Schmidt.
A memorial service in remembrance of Denise will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer funeral home (1315 W. Washington St., West Bend).
The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday at the funeral home from noon until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, Denise would have appreciated donations to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City.
The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Denise’s arrangements. Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
