Kenneth C. Knuth of Cedarburg went to his heavenly home on Jan. 22, 2017, at the age of 82. Ken was born in Zumbrota, Minn., on Nov. 6, 1934, to John and Ida Knuth. On Sept. 11, 1954, he married Carol Volz. He became a member of Davidís Star Lutheran Church, of Jackson, and was also a member of the choir there for many years. Ken was a lithographer for American Can Company in Milwaukee for over 30 years. Later he worked for Pioneer Container in Cedarburg for 10 years and retired in 1996. For almost 15 years Ken was a member of the Jackson Seniors Club. Over the years Ken enjoyed many family occasions, traveling, playing sheepshead and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Glenn) Sonnenburg and sons, Keith Knuth, Jeffrey (Linda) Knuth, Greg (Elizabeth Yagel) Knuth; grandchildren, Angela (Paul) Twardy Jr., Melisa Sonnenburg, Amy Sonnenburg, Julie Knuth, Shelby Knuth, Thomas Knuth, Nikki Knuth, Megan and Cameron Powell; great-grandchildren,: Kylie and Courtney; brother, Glenn Knuth and brother-in-law James (Carla) Volz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Knuth; sisters, Karol (Les) Egelston, Alma (Norbert) Bougie and Esther (Christian) Hadler.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Davidís Star Ev. Lutheran Church, 2740 Davidís Star Drive in Jackson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Interment, church cemetery. Memorials to Davidís Star Lutheran Church and Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School appreciated.
