James DeQuardo, 77, found peace Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at The Kathy Hospice.
He was born Jan. 11, 1940, to Sam and Mary (nee Stautner) DeQuardo. James proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was united in marriage Aug. 11, 1962, to Mary Joecks. James worked as an ironworker in his early years, eventually establishing Jim DeQuardo’s Farm & Supply in Hubertus and later moving the business to Menomonee Falls.
Jim enjoyed hunting, bowling and spending time with his family and friends.
James is survived by his loving wife, Mary; two daughters, Jessie (fiancé Eric Manke) Hagen and Jami DeQuardo; four grandchildren, Courtney Hagen, Molly (Dan) Pacitti, Kyla and Tyler DeQuardo; two great-granddaughters, Ryder Pacitti and Emery DeQuardo; daughter-in-law, Samantha DeQuardo; two brothers, Tom and Jerry DeQuardo; and four sisters, Beverly Todarello, Barbara Brinza, Bonnie (Gary) Lehnen and Bridgett (Dan Van Buskirk) DeQuardo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. James is preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Wayde and Chris.
A funeral service for James will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 28, at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford). A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
