Scott McCardell has "left the building." No longer surrounded by lesser mortals or forced to coexist with beings of inferior intellect, he is currently playing the Big "Gig in the Sky" in the throne room and presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
On Jan. 28, 2017, he joined his father Keith, mother Nancy Morearty, and sister-in-law Debbie Turicek. Those still on earth to share his stories and memories include his wife, Kathy (Casper); sons, Nathan (Nikki Barnard), Noah (Billie Guthrie), Caleb Scott and Ben; his daughter, Rebekah; his grandchildren, Bella, Riley, Logan Scott and Hannah; and his brothers, Terrill and Kevin (Karen McDonald), among other dearly cherished friends and relatives.
His life’s work was dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of people with special needs and challenges. He was committed to the principle that all people could be successful if given the right supports, and that mission will be carried on through his business, Bridges of Wisconsin.
The celebration of his life will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Wooded Hills Church (777 Highway 164, Colgate, WI) with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or a ministry of your choice.
